Groundbreaking Women in the Business of Sports Inclusion Survey

We are pleased to announce the launch of the groundbreaking WISE and McKinsey's Women in the Business of Sports Inclusion Survey. This industry-wide research goes well beyond anything that has been done in sports business and your participation is critical to its success.

Collaboration with McKinsey & Company

WISE is collaborating with McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm that has deep expertise in the sports sector and is committed to helping organizations accelerate sustainable and inclusive growth. The survey comes on the heels of McKinsey and LeanIn.Org's annual study, the largest benchmark study of women in corporate America.

As part of an effort to help bring greater inclusion, transparency and accountability to the business of sports, this survey is an in-depth evaluation of what is needed most so women can feel welcomed, respected, supported, valued, and be able to fully participate and actively contribute in the workplace.

Ensure Your Voice is Heard

We thank you in advance for taking the time to make a vital investment for all women in the business of sports. We will be asking women to give open, honest feedback about their experiences of the current state of inclusion and the barriers they may be facing. Understanding if women feel encouraged to bring their full, authentic selves to work and what that currently looks like is one of the key areas this research will explore.

We strongly encourage all who self-identify as women to participate. It is important that your voice is heard as this will inform and provide deeper visibility into how and where actions can be taken to deliver greater transparency, accountability and ultimately, inclusion, in our industry. These findings will also be published in a study that will be released later this year.

The Survey

We ask for your trust and willingness to share your candid thoughts and to be open and honest in your responses. Please respond based on your current day-to-day experience.

The survey takes 15-20 minutes to complete and all responses are treated as confidential. You will be asked to self-select demographic questions; please answer those you feel comfortable answering. This information will allow us to better understand different groups and build the most inclusive industry possible. If for any reason you want to skip a demographic question, you can select "no preference."

Your answers are saved every time you move forward through the survey. If you are unable to complete the survey in one sitting, instructions will be provided on how to return to your partially-completed survey at any time before it closes on Feb. 2, 2022.

Please share this with other women in your workplace. We look forward to standing together as we aim high to make this the best possible work environment.
