The true strength of WISE lies in the relationships that form between our members. Your city's WISE chapter is a community that provides programming, access to help and advice on nearly any topic, and networking opportunities in nearly any aspect of the industry.

Mentoring

WISE helps you establish professional relationships that can accelerate you careers. WISE Within — the national signature program of WISE — is an integrated, guided mentoring program that connects mid-level professionals to senior executives through facilitated group sessions, personal one-to-one mentoring, and a national online network. Founded in 2007, WISE Within boasts more than 500 alumni around the country.

In 2014, Speed Mentoring Roundtables — A WISE Within National Signature Event was launched to provide an opportunity to discuss your burning career questions with industry veterans and peers.

Executive Leadership Institute

Launched in 2014, the WISE Executive Leadership Institute was created specifically for the advancement and retention of female executives in the sports industry. The customized curriculum is targeted toward high-performing women at the vice president level or above and leverages the faculty and resources of Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth, which is consistently ranked among the world's top 10 business schools.

Professional Development

Women in the business of sports are in a unique position — and that's why WISE has created WISE/R, a one-of-a-kind symposium. Taking a 360 view on the industry, WISE/R dives deep into the real challenges women face throughout their careers and provides real practical tools and real-world advice. Offering actionable strategies to get you over the toughest hurdles to invaluable networking opportunities to help you build your career, the annual WISE/R Symposium in New York City is not to be missed!
