Inspiration comes from many avenues. In our WISE Bookshelf feature, members share some of the titles that have encouraged them to think outside of the box, try a new approach, dig down deep for the confidence they needed to make that big decision or simply allowed them a reprieve from the daily grind. Happy reading!
Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead
Author: Sheryl Sandberg
Genre: Management & Leadership
[The author] just hit it in black and white. You think a lot about what you’ve read in a book and feel, "Oh my god, she’s right." I keep going through the book thinking we all knew this but hadn’t seen it printed anywhere in one "go to" spot. It was sort of a lightbulb going off in my head [that] she's absolutely right, we have to do that, that fact is troubling.
