The Alchemist
Author: Paulo Coelho
Genre: Metaphysical Fiction
Comments
The Alchemist is a story of a young shepherd, Santiago, that sets out on a worldwide journey to find an extravagant treasure. Along the way he learns many life lessons — mainly that sometimes everything we yearn and desire is right in front of us, within us. He learns about having faith and belief in himself. Everything in our lives will have a time and place that it will happen, when we trust the process.
