Speed Mentoring Roundtables

WISE Speed Mentoring Roundtables at a WISE chapter near you

Mentoring makes a difference. WISE gives you a seat at the table.

This unique event helps more women take the first step on the path to mentorship by combining the access and insights of a masterclass with the ease of a speed networking event.

Mentorship can take many forms. In addition to a single one-to-one relationship as in our WISE Within program, women also need greater access to a variety of leaders and peers to make the connections that can help them shape their careers.

Speed Mentoring Roundtables are designed to lower the barriers to entry for more women. It's an easy, accessible platform to participate in meaningful dialogue, connect with peers, and build professional relationships.

Making mentoring available to all WISE members — regardless of location or career stage.

At this event, mentees are assigned to a table (in-person or virtual) with a small group of peers. Mentors then rotate among roundtables to allow each peer group to meet with multiple mentors and garner different perspectives.

This gives mentees a seat at the table with a seasoned industry veteran for a candid, meaningful, interactive discussion about the issues shaping women's careers today.

In-person and Virtual

The brainchild of the WISE Los Angeles chapter, the first event was piloted in 2013 and then rolled out across all WISE chapters as a WISE Within National Signature Event.

In 2021, the event went virtual, reaching all members across all chapters. More than 300 WISE members participated, including WISE Women of the Year and WISE Executive Leadership Institute alumnae serving as mentors.

During our annual national virtual event, attendees have the opportunity to connect with WISE members and industry leaders from all 25 WISE chapters across North America. The next event will take place on January 29, 2025 as our annual recognition and celebration of National Mentoring Month.

Chapters may offer in-person events, connecting members within the local market for a different experience. Chapters holding in-person events in 2025 can be found here.
