The Power of Negative Thinking: An Unconventional Approach to Achieving Positie Results
Author: Bob Knight
Genre: Non-fiction
Comments
Written as a rebuttal to the famous "The Power of Positive Thinking" by Norman Vincent Peale, Knight touts the virtues of being "prepared to win." It's a quick read and will offer a look from the "half-empty" glass.
In my role, I have three to five audiences that I sometimes have to be prepared for and this book drove home that maybe I wasn't crazy preparing for every possible outcome. Many times I've enjoyed Coach Knight's no-nonsense approach, and the anecdotes illustrate the "method to his madness."
