The 2025 WISE Women of the Year honorees are Amy Howe, Chief Executive Officer, FanDuel Group; Li Li Leung, President and Chief Executive Officer, USA Gymnastics; Patty Power, Executive Vice President, Operations and Engineering, CBS Sports Network; and Sandra L. Richards, Managing Director, Head of Global Sports & Entertainment and Segment Sales & Engagement Group, Morgan Stanley.
"WISE is thrilled to honor four outstanding women leaders in our industry," said Kathleen Francis, WISE national board chair and president. "Amy, Li Li, Patty, and Sandra are creating opportunities for women and paving the way for the next generation. We look forward to celebrating each of the honorees at our annual luncheon and the great work they do."
Awarded the distinction by the WISE National Board, the honorees will be recognized for their accomplishments, contributions and support of their female peers at the 29th Annual Awards Luncheon on March 19, 2025 in New York City.
Amy Howe
Chief Executive Officer | FanDuel Group
As CEO, Amy Howe leads FanDuel’s full portfolio across its sportsbook, casino, racing and daily fantasy platforms. She is also responsible for driving commercial success across the company’s marketing, technology, product and regulatory practices. Prior to becoming CEO, she served as FanDuel’s president, overseeing the company’s core commercial operations. Howe joined FanDuel Group from Live Nation Entertainment, following a distinguished career as partner at McKinsey & Company. At Live Nation, she led the digital transformation and modernization of the company’s ticketing platform as COO of Ticketmaster, the largest division of Live Nation Entertainment. Howe earned her MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, and holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University. She sits on the Women’s Leadership Board for the Sports Innovation Lab, and is a member of the 2017 Sports Business Journal Game Changers class, as well as having been named to Billboard Magazine’s 100 Most Powerful Women in Music list.
Li Li Leung
President and Chief Executive Officer, USA Gymnastics
Since 2019, Li Li Leung has led USA Gymnastics through a cultural transformation, introducing a new board of directors, new mission statement, 70% new staff, and establishing new organizational values prioritizing athlete safety. Headlined by a new Athlete Bill of Rights, USAG under Leung now provides comprehensive health and wellness resources for its members, offering some of the most robust mandatory and optional training to parents, coaches and adult members in sports. Since 2022, USA Gymnastics has also entered multiple new commercial partnerships, including an historic partnership with Nike that extends through the LA28 Games. The USA Gymnastics teams during Leung’s tenure have also experienced record-setting performances, with the women’s artistic team winning gold in Paris, and the men’s team winning bronze, their first medal since 2008. Leung was named a Sports Business Journal “Power Player” in 2020, recognized by the A100 list of the most impactful athletes Asian Pacific Leaders in 2023, and is a member of the 2024 Game Changers class. Prior to joining USAG, Leung was a vice president at the NBA, where she negotiated and managed key global partner relationships, and was managing director at the global sports management firm Helios Partners. A gymnast herself, Leung was a member of the U.S. junior national training team and competed at the 1999 Junior Pan American Games, as well as competing on the four-time Big 10 champion University of Michigan women’s gymnastics team. After graduating from Michigan, Leung earned a master’s in sports management and an MBA, both from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Patty Power
Executive Vice President, Operations and Engineering | CBS Sports Network
In her role since 2016, Patty Power is responsible for day-to-day production management, technical management, network operations, commercial operations, post production and media services for all CBS Sports and CBS Sports Network’s broadcast and cable network. She also is responsible for the technical production of all CBS Sports remotes including Super Bowl LVIII, LV and LIII, the AFC Championship Game, NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship and Final Four, the Masters, UEFA, PGA Championship, college football and thousands of hours of studio and original programming. Under Power's leadership, CBS Sports continues to drive groundbreaking workflows and technical innovations across the industry. Amongst the first to return to live sports during the pandemic to overseeing the first ever Super Bowl simulcast on Nickelodeon, her team have always been on the forefront of trend setting productions. An industry veteran, Power was previously SVP of operations and administration for CBS Sports Network, the first 24-hour college sports network, and has been integral to its growth and success since inception. Power, a six-time Emmy winner, came to CBS from Major League Baseball Productions, where she was VP of operations, managing the production unit, serving as operations liaison with all 30 MLB teams, and managing the build-out of MLB’s 25,000 square-foot multi-level production facility in New York City’s Chelsea Market. She was the first employee in the operations department at Classic Sports Network (now ESPN Classic), and also worked at Showtime Networks and NBC Sports. Power is an executive board member of Sports Video Group, and graduated from Farmingdale State College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management.
Sandra L. Richards
Managing Director, Head of Global Sports & Entertainment and Segment Sales & Engagement Group | Morgan Stanley
Under Sandra L. Richards’s leadership over the past six years, Morgan Stanley’s Global Sports & Entertainment business has grown to over 300 Financial Advisors with the Global Sports and Entertainment Director/Associate Director designation, as well as the NFLPA Registered Institutional Player FA designation, dedicated to serving the unique and complex needs of professional athletes, entertainers, creators, industry executives and emerging talent. In 2015, Richards was named a MAKER @ Morgan Stanley, and has also been recognized with numerous other awards, including Crain’s New York Business’ Notable Women in Sports in 2022, Variety’s Women of Impact List in 2019, the New York Women’s Chamber of Commerce Women of Excellence Award in 2018, and the Seton Hall Black Alumni Association’s Vanguard Award in 2018. She was also one of AdWeek’s Champions of Change and a member of Sports Business Journal’s Game Changers class in 2023. In 2016, Richards debuted as a children’s book author with her story about the value of heritage and diversity, Rice & Rocks — called “a beautiful, amusing tribute to family traditions” by Kirkus Reviews. Richards holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Seton Hall University, Executive education degrees from Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business and Harvard Business School – and serves on the National Trustee Board of the Boys & Girls Club of America.
