WISE Indianapolis Signature Events

WISE Indianapolis hosts four signature events each year, complemented by additional seasonal programs designed to keep members engaged. The signature events include Power Play, Speed Mentoring Round Tables, Women of Inspiration, and Financial Fitness.

Speed Mentoring Round Tables presented by Pacers Sports & Entertainment

Speed Mentoring Roundtables is a fast-paced and interactive event where WISE Indianapolis members can engage with seasoned industry leaders and peers. Attendees will discuss meaningful career and professional development topics in a collaborative, supportive setting. Mentees are pre-assigned to a small, peer group roundtable. Mentors rotate among the roundtables offering easy access for connecting with peers and building strong relationships.

This event is typically hosted in January.

Women in the NFL Power Play Luncheon presented by the Indianapolis Colts & NFL

Hosted in the spring, the Power Play series highlights executive-level female sports business leaders from the same organization for a panel discussion on career issues. In 2024, WISE Indianapolis partnered with the NFL for our 2nd Annual "Women in the NFL Luncheon." The event gives attendees the opportunity to hear from inspiring trailblazers while connecting with other women leaders in the Indianapolis sports community.

This event is typically hosted in February/March.

Financial Fitness presented by Elements Financial & Indianapolis Indians

Financial Fitness features a workshop to help women hone their business sense. The program addresses topics such as the basics of investing, understanding the stock market, retirement planning, and maximizing your 401(k), breaking them down into an easy-to-digest format.

This event is typically hosted in October/November.

Women of Inspiration presented by Indianapolis Colts & Penske Entertainment

The Women of Inspiration Awards, determined and awarded by WISE chapters, honor women in chapter markets who exemplify the spirit of the WISE mission and are making a positive impact on the business of sports while serving as positive role models and mentors for other women. 

- Woman of Inspiration - A Woman of Inspiration is a woman who leads by example, inspires others to be extraordinary, and champions to advance women in the sports and events industry. This person is a role model who inspires others to go further, making an impact across their company, community, and industry. 

- Woman to Watch - A Woman to Watch is a rising star within the sports and events industry with less than ten years of experience who is passionate, innovative, and showcases a commitment to meaningful work.
