The Women of Inspiration Awards recognize women leaders in the business of sports and events who serve as role models and mentors for other women in the Twin Cities community. This year, in lieu of an event, we have created a week-long celebration of our 2020 WOI Honorees. 2020 Women of Inspiration Honorees
Stacey Hardin
Minnesota United FC
Hardin is the first and only female head athletic trainer in Major League Soccer. This year she became responsible for overseeing the COVID-19 operations for the 31-man Minnesota United roster, the technical staff, the training staff and the MNUFC front office.

Sara Wegmann
Her Next Play
Wegmann founded the non-profit Her Next Play with Audra Emerson on the mission to develop the next generation of women leaders through sports. Through the organization, Sara has provided countless opportunities to the next generation of female leaders and has instilled a yes you can attitude within them.

Monterae Carter
Minnesota Vikings
Carter helped launch the Vikings Table Food Truck in 2019. In only its second year, the food truck has served a vital role in safely distributing meals during a global pandemic. Amidst growing demand from the community, the food truck has delivered over 11,000 meals to youth - more than double what they did in the previous year.

Tami Hedrick
Outgoing WISE TC Chapter President
Hedrick help found WISE Twin Cities in 2017 and served as its first Chapter President. During her time with WISE TC, Tami created a space for women to come together to support and empower each other. In 2021, Tami will be transitioning to our advisory board where she will continue to be a valuable resource for our community.
