We’re celebrating 25 years of empowering women. Help us continue the mission!

As a volunteer-based organization, we rely solely on our members to make WISE work. Since our founding in 1993, we’ve been fortunate to have so many of you generously volunteer your time, talent and energy to further our mission of empowering women in the business of sports, and the results have been clear — growth for the organization and for the women who count on us for support.

Why Volunteer?

In choosing to volunteer, you'll not only be supporting your peers and future generations of female leaders in the industry, but you'll also be investing in your own career and professional development. As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Grow your network
  • Build your resources
  • Learn new skills or hone existing ones
  • Work with industry peers and/or influencers
  • Give back and pay it forward

How Can You Contribute?

As we continue to build out WISEworks.org, we are looking to fill the following roles in growing the platform into the No. 1 resource for women in the industry:

  • feature writers
  • copywriters
  • copy editors
  • video editors
  • photo editors (must have access to PhotoShop)
  • graphic designers (must have access to Adobe Creative Suite)
  • content/web producers (will train, CMS familiarity preferred)

Monthly time commitments vary by position, but we’re seeking candidates who are able to commit a minimum of five hours per month.

We are also looking for volunteers with strong project management, administrative and technical skills to help coordinate and manage digital initiatives.
