Pandemic Prescription: A Virtual Lunch Event

Pandemic Prescription

UPDATE: Thank you to all who joined us!
As mentioned during our chat, we'll be sharing a full list of resources from Dr. Sheila early next week! Stay tuned and please keep in touch.

Mark your calendar and plan to join us on Zoom, February 26th from noon to 1 PM. We’ll be coming together for a virtual lunch to talk about all things physical and mental health both in these challenging times and beyond. Joining us to lead the conversation is a frontline hero and highly respected family practitioner, Dr. Sheila Wijayasinghe in conversation with the incredible Kate McKenna.

Focused on our mental and physical health at work, around the dining room table, and at home, around the dining room table, Kate will help to guide our conversation as we share tips/life hacks to help cope, talk strategies for finding harmony in all facets of life, and field questions from our amazing community. With that in mind, we’re eager to make this event as meaningful and powerful as possible, so if you have a question – please comment below or shoot us an email at info@wisetoronto.org. We’re happy to field anonymous queries – it’s very likely others have the same thoughts, challenges, or concerns!

From there, she defeated thousands of applicants to win Transat Holiday's award-winning "Vacationer Wanted" campaign, which propelled her on a year-long travel journey - tasked with creating digital content along the way. She has also been a writer and content creator for The Hamilton Spectator, CBC Sports, and the Canadian Football League and has a passion for coaching others to be more effective communicators.

This event is free to join, we hope you will set aside the hour, and take a few minutes for yourself.
