How do you develop a "networking" schedule when you work from home?

You need to build it into your schedule, put it on your calendar, and make it a priority. Look at is as part of your daily routine - use the regular interactions you have during the day to connect with people. I am selective about the networking meetings I choose where I know I can meet clients and colleagues.

As you build these events into your schedule, be sure that they are aligned with your interests and goals.

You can also use the power of social media from your office to extend and expand your online networking efforts, but be sure to use "blended" networks of both offline and online forums.
