Inspiration comes from many avenues. In our WISE Bookshelf feature, members share some of the titles that have encouraged them to think outside of the box, try a new approach, dig down deep for the confidence they needed to make that big decision or simply allowed them a reprieve from the daily grind. Happy reading!
Author: Hermann Hesse
My favorite book is one that’s been around for awhile. It’s a short book, which might be another reason why I like it so much. It is a simple story about an Indian man named Siddhartha and the spiritual journey that he embarks on. I’ve read it many times. It’s one of those books that periodically I will pick up and find something different in it — enlightening and inspiring every time I read it. It’s a very simple but pretty impactful story.
