18th Annual WISE Women of the Year Awards BALLOT
YOUR VOTE IS IMPORTANT The 18th Annual WISE Women of the Year Awards Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The WISE Women of the Year Award is a prestigious honor that recognizes three extraordinary women who have made a significant impact on the business of sports and events. The 2012 nominees along with their profiles are posted on the WISE website at www.WISEworks.org. The deadline for voting is 8:00 PM (Eastern), Tuesday, January 31, 2012. The WISE National Board of Directors has reviewed all nominees and recommends these candidates based on the following criteria: - women who in their careers are visible leaders and continue to be an influential voice for women in the industry;
- women who have broken down barriers and helped create connections and new opportunities for other women while continuing to be a respected resource in the field;
- women who exemplify professional excellence and are role models for others:
- women with a minimum of 10 years work experience with at least five years in the sports and/or events industry.
